Ira Wagner is President, European Private Finance of American Capital Ltd. He first started at the firm in 1986. He thereafter left, and returned as a Principal in 1997. Four years later, he was appointed to the position of Executive VP and COO and then in 2008 to his current position. In his positions at the firm, Wagner played a key role in the company’s development and led the growth of its European private finance platform beginning in 2004. A year later he was appointed President of European Capital Financial Services. As well, he pioneered the growth of the company’s Syndications Team in New York.
